I had to meet the Gardai last night by their request. They said last year was alot more peaceful that they anticipated and they were not going to have the Riot Squad on this year ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

That is actually quite a statement from them and should be seen as a very good will gesture and bodes well for a smooth running Gardai free fest this year.
It's easy to say ACAB but at the end of the day we would rather have a fest with very little presence then a heavy handed presence no?
