Holy shit, the Dogtooth guy.
I haven’t seen Dogtooth yet, but I watched Borgman last night, which apparently is very similar in tone, and loved it. Going to watch Dogtooth this weekend.

There’s not been anything worth watching at the cinema for the last couple of weeks. My local didn’t get 22 Jump Street which is pretty annoying.

I was at a free screening last night for an indie movie. There was a concurrent one for 22 Jump St. You'd think they were giving away free money at the place. Mobbed.
Which is to say that I think it will do well.

Can't you hop on a tube to see something you want to see?

That was my favourite of the film fest this year. Dogtooth was my favourite from a few years back. Great films.

Then why am I conflating them and wantonly flinging around accusations?
Because they have a similar tone and naturally are being compared. They're both creepy euro art house flicks about messed up families. Both films have been hard to categorise and don't really fit into any genre as such, containing elements of comedy, horror, drama, religious and film noir. Well, at least that's my take but I ain't seen Dogtooth yet.
