I remember when I was a kid this religious friend of mine told me that the bells on the Angelus are replaced with the sound of a rattlesnake's rattle. I'd try and catch this to check out if it was true but I always seemed to miss it. I really wish this had been true though, it would be so creepy.

i had a bottle of sake and tried to get drunk with my friend, watching mtv rocks top 100 rock reminiscence". The playlist was bizarre. We enjoyed the nostalgic stuff from our childhood like the ill-judged nu-metal period and the bloodhoung gang, but there were weird songs thrown in and lots of emo stuff we were getting a bit old for, so then we were annoyed and all the bad weezer songs were in there, and it was a bummer. also seems like sake is a philosophical kind of booze, because we just slurrily discussed where our lives were going and why we didn't really want to have kids.

basically, it was a very weird good friday, we never managed to get drunk enough for that list and now its only midnight and i'm sober again eating cookies in bed watching chuck,... actually this is pretty good!

in my limited experience, this is a conversation women have about a year before one of them get pregnant.

I've been listening to carly simon on repeat and contemplating the world.
