Youtube ditching flash? (1 Viewer)

Youtube has had a non-flash version with a good while, opt-in through the labs. I'm a die hard Firefox user so never could take advantage of it since FF didn't like the licensing of h264 video. Apparently this will change though as they've said if the OS has a h264 codec installed, they'll fall back to that. That avoids FF having to distribute a h264 codec themselves.
 
Will this spell the end of flash plugin crashes I wonder...seems like a move in the right direction..I've been encoding all my videos in h264 for the last 6 months..it is'nt the most compact codec I've ever seen though..but the resolution is awesome
