Could someone please help me out with a detailed tutorial showing how to connect a Yamaha QY10 to my PC and pilot it using a sequencer like Cakewalk/ FL Studio etc - particularly Cakewalk. I am using a Windows based Pentium 4 running XP Professional. Don't have a problem hooking up a normal keyboard but am struggling to get the QY10 and the PC to speak. I have a midi cable plugged into the parralell port at the back of my PC and the 2 midi plugs IN and OUT of the QY10 -
