ormeau road. quite far up the ormeau road. white building on the left as you head out of town. make sure you go upstairs cos if you wander round downstairs asking about punk rawk you might get a kickin.

jesus, i was just wondering if yakuza had brought out their album yet, seems like ages ago i downloaded that song from the thumped.

ah the Errigle, sure didn't the wan used to live round the corner, and sure didnt the ex-wan's grandparents used to own it.

But if you wander around upstairs asking about punk rock, you'll get confused looks and "but this is a yakuza gig"s

Go on the boys. Someone should sort these boys out for a gig. Due to Phil's leaving for the states they can't play the Ballroom over the summer. Anyone reckon they could give them a slot?

the last time i listened to them they were nothing like a punk band, is what it's supposed to mean!

never listen to the minutemen, jesus lizard, gang of four, sonic youth..?

i dunno, just seemed like a harsh comment to make about a band who have just booked their second UK tour; released, sold out of, and repressed a 7" split; recorded and released their own album; organised two all ages festivals in their home towns, and constantly support the belfast DIY scene. if that's not punk as fuck, i quit.

say, is that signature from leeds/bradford airport check-in? i took a photo of that sign! crazy shit.

never said they weren't a diy band, never even said they weren't a good band, just that *musically* i wouldn't consider them a punk band, or sonic youth, or the minutemen for that matter.
i don't even see how it's harsh - i'm a lot more likely to like a band if they don't fit into the confines of what it is (musically) to be punk, in my book.
do quit though, it'd be hilarious.
yep, signature is from there, and prompted too many conversations along the lines of
casino: something offensive.
me: i'm offended.
casino: i jest, i jest.
me: comments made in jest will be taken seriously.
