Never played an RPG before, let alone a mmorpg (or whatever ya calls em).
Anyone else on here play this thing? I picked it up a few days ago. Seems pretty cool, but not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be doing!

i wouldn't touch WOW with a pole though, i wasted enough time playing neverwinter nights and now i've been sucked into baldurs gate

This game seems to be something of a slippery slope.. I have a friend who got so hooked on it that after spending most of his life outside work playing it for a few weeks he had to force himself to uninstall the game and then got his flatmate to hide the box to prevent himself relapsing. I don't think you're supposed to know what to "do" in it really, you just wander about and make up your own goals.

I'm three years on the video game wagon meself despite a GTA4 relapse during the Summer. There's enough vices around and WoW can be as real a problem as any narcotic - don't start!

I bought a copy when it came out three years ago, played SOLIDLY
for four months and had to quit it cold turkey.
I look back on the game as often as I would an intense and brief
relationship with an ex-girlfriend (but without the wanking).

The funeral raid is one of the funniest things I've ever seen though.

SVGA supported.

Gravis Ultrasound or Soundblaster PRO II, doesn't work with Adlib.

You can use a mouse if you bump some applications into HIMEM and free up at least 613K, you might want to try using a bootdisk.

Minimum Specs are 486 DX2 66mh/z although I got it working on an old 25mhz 386SX with the graphics way down.
