Inspired by this thread I thought I would ask for your help. My friend wants to come and live and work in Ireland from the United States. When she's finished college she's allowed live and work here for 4 months on a J-1 style yokey, after that she doesn't seem to have many options. It seems she can get a student visa but that's dependent on her getting funding to do further studies here. Is there anyway to get a work visa to Ireland or any programme that anyone knows of that lets 'Merikans work here longer term?
