Ok, the power lead thing that slots into the back of my laptop is broke. The little battery symbol on the screen only turns into a *charging" symbol when the leads sits in just right.
Any movement in the laptop, the lead, the table, the house, if a lorry goes past outside then the connection comes loose and I'm spending the next few minutes on my knees fiddling with the wire. (so to speak).
It's very frustrating. To say the least. It waits till I'm sitting down all comfy with a coffee and a smoke to act up. I've got stuff to do on the bloody thing that takes concentration. (Like procrastinating on thumped).
What do I do? I have no money or warranty. Help. Should I shove tin foil into the slot to make it connect better? Or will that maybe set me on fire or something?
