Right, got a pressie of one o' dem world band radios offa my sis for the crimbo...
Anyone have any idea what frequency and what time I'll get to hear The John Peel Show...
All I get right now is mucho noiseo...
and there's this weird american christian radio station that really creeps me out.

What does a world band radio look like?

I have a lead running from the ntl socket in the living room to a connection at the back of tuner. That way you can pick up all the BBC stations on crystal clear FM.
BBC 1 and Peel are on 99.7FM.

I can pick him up via my telly aerial at about 101FM.
But only after I touch the junction box with my hand.
There are plenty of jokes that can be made about that bit.
Don't know why it works, though.
