the white noise they pump into my office in a Huxleyesque effort to stifle conversation and keep us serene - a soma-like induction that actually turns everyone into rabid mindrapists

the gadhunk gadhunk gadhunk of the town around me, the water pump when the neighbour's shower is going, the drilling up of tarmac and asphalt, the regularised persistent thumping of runner on treadmill, hamsters going round and round

the hack hack hack of people with flus, colds, and other respiratory infections of an unknown source, who can't get better because they won't take a day off, the muffler-free motorbike engines, the violence in the evenings and the smashing of broken hearts

It all sounds like a Rollers/Sparkers song

Possessive Apostrophe? There is a few I haven't heard of, that's the least believable.

music just seems kinda crap to me at the moment. however, going through a dinosaur jr. overdose.
