Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush

Too long I roam in the night.
I'm coming back to his side, to put it right.
I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering,
Wuthering Heights,

Sheby Charles Aznavour
who the fuck is he

i'm still stuck with pink floyd, but looking back through 79 - holy shit - killer singles year!
the police, dr hook (hell yeah!), buggles, the police again, gary newman, boomtown rats, tubeway army, roxy music, elvis costello, blondie, abba, ian dury, and then it gets kinda shitty like the village people (no doubt something to do with your birth)
although 1980 starts off shitty too (pink floyd, duh) - something to do with my birth i'd imagine

There's lots of stuff mentioned here that I remember seeing on TOTP. Especially Shaky's 'Green Door' - I loved him. Even if he was just a Welsh schoolteacher pretending to be Elvis.

The Reflex by Duran Duran. Does anyone remember that cos i don't..

whaaaat!!
that's a deadly song

The reflex is a lonely child just waiting by the park
The reflex is in charge of finding a treasure in the dark
And watching over lucky clover isn't that bizarre
Every little thing the reflex does leaves you answered with a question mark

HOLY FUCK. That was the first single I ever bought... was that 1983?

It had a live version of Come Up and See Me (Make Me Smile) on the B side

1984
May 24th to be precise
That's gotta be weird... I think the first single I ever bought was.... Love Me For A Reason by Boyzone, in 93/94..
