Was reading over old Things Your Missing articles (which have been very helpful thanks..). Twas quite sad, just struck me how bloody great an idea that was. The merch stands, the recording diaries, the mailing list, the recording equipment library, the 'community'... Why did it stop?

Something like that is distinctly lacking from Dublin at the moment..

god it was great back then. every gig you'd be at, there'd be donnacha in the corner smiling. he had a bigger beard and long hair then. long lustrus hair, the colour of liquid gold. we used to throw stuff at him and make a wish. you'd but the tycho's album, or maybe a stoat single and then skip home happy. good times.

was the beard not bigger back in the day? he looked more huggable or something then. having said that, i had difficulty not hugging him at the ballroom there a few weeks ago.
