This looks fun- notice the trend with video games and music merging in the last few years with the likes of GTA, Crystal Castles, Boy 8 Bit and Dj Scotch Egg. Bit of a fad but entertaining none the less!

Defo loads of overdue 8-bit recognition happening. A whole generation grew up deeply transfixed on those bleeps and they can push triggers and sound cool the way an 808 can for some. Dubstep, Skweee and the whole post-Dilla instrumental hip-hop explosion have assimilated these sounds nicely, and without pointing to them like it's a novelty. I fucking love it meself.

Cheers for all the linkage.
Xiu Xiu do some good tunes with 8bit sounds. heres two
