it's an interesting case, with the US seeking to bring themselves into line with foreign countries. it's an odd situation where for example, a hungarian may own the copyright to a hungarian work in hungary, but not in the US.

is hungarian copyright not life+70 years? u.s. supreme court is talking about taking works which had been public domain back into private hands.
