Killbarrack to Finglas is quite the gauntlet to be running alright.

They're putting a bus lane down Oscar Traynor road/Coolock lane just for that bus. It caused much consternation amongst my motorist colleagues when I worked out there. Thing is, the 17a connects Finglas and Coolock to the Dart, so its pretty essential for the 17a to have a bus lane. This idea was lost on my colleagues though, who hated that their 90 minute commute was stretched to a 95 minute commute while they put the bus lane in.

Back in the mid 90s I used the 17A for getting from girlfriend's place to Coolock cinema a few times. Rough even in early evening. Usually a single decker bus. Green.
