Since when were the Boo Radleys uncool?!?!?

Sweetoblivion DJ-ed at a 30 birthday one time (she didnt know the person). he asked her to play manc scene stuff, stone roses, oasis, new order etc as well as other indie tunes.

she put on the boo radleys mid set. after it was over she was asked to not play them anymore cus everyone at the birthday was from or lived in manchester at some stage and the boo radleys were from liverpool. and that wouldnt do.

what about chris de burgh? i like a few of his tunes

Mostly awful, but Spanish Train is great. As is the cover of Man on the Line.

when i was young and stupid I thought this song was powerful stuff, hard hitting political commentary with a riff ripped off Horslips

I suppose you could say Chris De Burgh was my Subhumans

Alas, on hearing it again, it's shit, but a zillion times better than Lady in Red

Ha I never knew they'd cause such consternation! The band that went down the best was The Killers...they made me play it around 3 times.

"Hold up, R. Kelly! I am NOT one of your groupies! Oh no, did not just try to play me like that!"

And I haven't even gotten to the track itself yet..
