Aarhus University in Denmark has published an environmental assessment of Danish pork production. Here are the main points:

• Danish pork emits around 3.6kg CO2e/kg of carcass weight pork.
• The main environmental impacts occur at the farm stage, before the pig is slaughtered.
• The highest contributions to global warming, eutrophication and acidification arise from production of feed and handling of manure in the pig housing and under storage. However, the manure/slurry applied to the fields also made a significant contribution to eutrophication potential.
• The transport of the pork to the Port of Harwich was not an environmental hot spot and contributed less than 1% of the total amount of greenhouse gasses emitted during the production.

The environmental impact of Danish pork was compared with the environmental impact of British and Dutch pork. It was found that the global warming potentials were equal, whereas the eutrophication and acidification potential was higher for British pork.

We don't need to stop eating meat or drive less or use less
non-renewable energy.

We need to start wiping out the population.

Science, and medicine in particular, has driven the earth past the
point of no return. Think of the lives that have been saved and the
lives that now rely on oil, animal flesh and clean, desalinated water
even after they were meant to die.

We need a 10 year amnesty on medicine.
Hospitals and pharmacies must both be disarmed and decommisioned.

Allowing a more natural order take the reins in situations like this
will not only reduce the strain on natural resources but also allow a
little more genetic strength to shine through. Plus, more rotting
corpses buried underground means richer soil means better crops.

Admit it, if you believe in evolution then you must understand
the need to eliminate those people who cannot survive without
modern medicine, artificial chemicals, wheelchairs or eyeglasses.
They must all be removed from the gene pool lest they dilute our

it would probably make more sense for them to eat us though. they're hungry; we're fat and have bigger carbon footprints.

maybe we could start a pilot scheme and send over a couple of truckloads of chuggers?

did you post that research of yours here?
also i'd be curious to see what the contribution vegetable and biofuel farming is having on the environment too. A bit of balance after all. Biofuel farming and the american subsidies drove huge swathes of forest land to be destroyed and other agricultural practises put aside for it because the money was so lucrative. The EU and US were behind this initial kneejerk solution that they have since backtracked on but damage was done nonetheless.

also how are we supposed to discern what is and isnt to be adhered to when it comes to all these policies when there is little or no unified front from governments saying they will proactively push policy and research put forward by these environmental groups?

We are all but organically farmed sheep looking for the former city trader turned farmer wearing his ethically made clothing driving his solar powered tractor to lead us to our wicker woven pen.

My family and friends, above all, want the earth to survive.
If it means they have to go in bullety, fiery ways so that
ingrates like you can enjoy another day - so be it.
