So, NASA has said compression artifacts caused by the ccd being overloaded by plasma spikes. Or something like that. .... Could def be that, but.... People have found the same anomoly in the same place on different days.

In addition NASA seems to be going back into their recent images and replacing some of them.

So same date stamps, etc... Different pic.

????

This photo link seems to self-update tot he latest image....

As I see it now (at 1100 on Wed) there's an anomaly at the 2:30 - 3 o'clock position and at the 4 o'clock position...
