The Mystery Jets (DJ Set) - Lobby Bar

All the best bands create their own universe. Few, however, create one as strange and
bewitching as the Mystery Jets...

The Mystery Jets embody British pop at its most invigoratingly weird, previous singles ‘Zoo Time’,
‘You Can’t Fool Me Dennis’, ‘On My Feet’ and ‘Alas Agnes’ have seemed like dispatches from
some starry-eyed parallel universe.

This is a rare DJ outing for the band and we're more than curious to see what kind of musical
landscape they have instore for us at UltraShock on Sunday 5th August.

(Space Camp Present) Prins Thomas - Pod

Prins Thomas has been the primary force in putting our friends in Norway at the center
of the 21st Century disco map. He has producing a multitude of tracks and have remixed
everyone from Franz Ferdinand, Annie, Chicken Lips and LCD Soundsystem, as well as
continuing to release on Belgiums' superb Eskimo Recordings.

Prins Thomas came to prominence when he joined forces with Lindstrom in 2003, after mutual
admiration and inspirationof each others productions. Lindstrom as muso-wizard and Prins
Thomas as underdog remix-champ. They both share the same passion for collecting records
as well, and run their own labels Feedelity, Full Pupp and Tamburin. Besides working on various
solo-projects, their main priority Whatever they do they're always expanding outer limits of
futuristic disko & universal boogie!

Prins's record company are keeping quiet about his next remix: Hatchback - White Diamond
(Prins Thomas Miks) Its an 18 minute disco masterpiece and its the best thing he's done yet,
keep your ears open for it, its very special.

Chicks On Speed (DJ Set) - Crawdaddy

Chicks On Speed started as a fake band behind the Munich Art Academy in 1997, instead of
attending classes they would organize their weekly illegal parties under the name "Seppi Bar".
The three members, Kiki Moorse (Germany), Melissa Logan (New York) and Alex
Murray-Leslie (Australia) came together from all over the globe to create their own personal,
international, "do it yourself" melting pot style! Establishing themselves in the fields of pop music
painting, graphic design and fashion.

It was always almost impossible for COS to be put into "a box" by any journalist, as they were
constantly working in every possible direction in every possible medium at the same time!
COS never wanted to be a band, but somehow, they sort of slipped into becoming a band.
They developed a stage show and performance so visually and aurally stimulating that
they were invited to support the B52´s on their 25th anniversary show in New York in 2001 at
Webster Hall and opened for Kraftwerk and Underworld.

Collaborations with other artists have always been a very strong focus within their work.
COS collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld in 2001 on the cover photo of "Fashion Rules!", worked
with the Viennese producer team Gerhard Potuznik and Ramon Bauer and the production
team Glove on the last 3 Chix albums, created a fashion collection with Jeremy Scott in 2003
called "Overalls for all!"

Their album '99 Cent' featured Tina Weymouth from Tom Tom Club and Talking Heads,
Peaches, Nicola from Adult and Miss Kittin.
