Thanks to a tip from Jill Hives, I bought Tusk at the weekend...... and it totally rocks .|..|
I'm almost considering exploring the back catalogue. I also heard that Camper Van Beethoven recorded a version of the album in full. Amusing!

Favourite tracks so far

- That's Enough For Me
- I Know I'm Not Wrong

and this one recommended by Jill....

We went to see Brian Wilson in LA. Outside we saw a limo with the driver standing beside it. My friend asked the driver who he was waiting for. "Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac", he said, gruffly. "Oh, is she a big Brian Wilson fan?", my friend asked. The driver was as unimpressed as I was.

Well, it is a girls name in fairness.

I too like this album a lot. Some of the things written about it are very misleading though. I expected an album of avant-garde guitar punk the first time i listened to and instead i got yet more soft-rock for rich people (which is fine!). Sarah and Storms are my faves.

I have done the state some service
And they know it
