I picked up a cheap compilation on Trojan Records (The Trojan Story) in Tower a while back and its totally ace! Toots and the Maytals, The Uniques, Techniques etc

Trouble is there are loads of little Trojan Box sets (dance hall, Love, Mod reggae, rocksteady etc) and I'm brand new to this stuff.

Could anybody reccommend a good one?

I know its a tall order and depends on what genre you prefer but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

if you're interested in hearing some good reggae, as Gerry (punk-ish looking bloke with red coloured hair and leather pants) in Tower for some recommendations. He manages to find all the best reggae that comes into the shop.

Cheers!

Is that the tall lad that used to work in Comet years ago?

There's lots of really good stuff on the 100% 200%..... etc etc 300% dynamite various artists compilations, more leftfield reggae i'd imagine it could be called.
