JESUS BRUISER are coming over for a short tour early August ‘09.

We play sometimes melodic, sometimes thrashy, always loud political multi-vocal crust - a sample of which can be heard here:
http://www.jesusbruiser.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/buy-bye5.mp3
(track 1 of a soon-to-be-released split 12” with Finnish d-beat fanatics DISKELMA)

We are looking to fill the following dates:

Thursday 6th - help needed
(we will be arriving at Rosslare around 6pm so drive-able from there, Cork? Wexford?)

Friday 7th - we are in Galway, more information soon

Saturday 8th - help needed

Sunday 9th - help needed

If you can help with any of these dates please get in touch, we would need accommodation for the night, vegan food and petrol money.

You can email us at [email protected].
You won’t find us on Myspace.

We all really looking forward to it, so get in touch!

Thanks,
Badger BRUISER

a couple of us put on the odd gig in new ross which is in wexford so not bad for the ferry, not much of a crust scene but sure there'd be a bit of a crowd and food, place to stay definite and petrol money to galway would be possible i'd say, let me know if your interested and i'll look into it, about 45 mins from rosslare

good (mid week!) session after also!

wow many thanks for the quick replies, "bohs punks" could you post an email address we can talk through up here or email us at [email protected] ? cheers again, really looking forward to it...

thanks for the recommendation :)

bohs punks - yeah thurs in Wexford would be cool - i've emailed you

The tap is in Dublin, right? can anyone send us a contact for the organisers? we are supposed to be playing Belfast that night, would many people leave Belfast to go to this do you think? if so maybe we should try to get on to it, if not then maybe the wonderful people who have talked about doing us a house show in Dublin on the sunday 9th could talk to the all-dayer about promoting the two events together, double-flyer stylee?! as we'd really like to get up to Belfast as we've been offered, but if no-one will be there maybe best to try for this one? let us know what you think out there!

thanks, Badger (JESUS BRUISER)

thats amazing! massive thanks to everyone out there who's been helping with this tour, really fucking looking forward to it! if you send us the venue name (and any other info if you've got it yet) for the New Ross gig to our info (at) jesusbruiser.co.uk addy and i'll start sending it out to poeple.

also, the Saturday 8th August date is now confirmed @ The Pavilion, Belfast.
so here's what we're looking like:

Thursday 6th: New Ross, Wexford (venue unknown)
Friday 7th: Galway, with ANTITRUST, STAND CLEAR and IN THIS FOR FUN (@ Sally Longs Bar)
Saturday 8th: Belfast (@ The Pavilion)
Sunday 9th: help needed!

we are also now looking for a driver for the tour as our origonal one has dropped out, we're arriving by ferry to Rosslare about 6pm on Thursday 6th with our guitars, ampheads and drum breakables (hoping to borrow backline rather than hire but open to offers) and planning on getting the ferry home sometime during the day on August 10th (Monday). if you can help then drop us a line at info (at) jesusbruiser.co.uk thanks again,

Badger

You should be fine with what your bringing rather than thinking about renting cabs etc once you have the heads i reckon promoters can sort out the rest easy

we can probably sort out getting you from rosslare but you'd need a driver to galway obviously.

new ross gig starts at ten and will be on in "the practice room" at new ross cdp. all ages welcome but will be a byob gig

if yo cant get dublin for the sunday theres a palce in cavan had an all night gig a while back that was meant to be deadly that'd be worth trying -search on here for all night gig

next gig in new ross is kilinaboy, radical folk punk on weds june 24th at the rag pub, admission free

Are the Dublin people who we met in Bristol using this forum? if so, please get in touch info (at) jesusbruiser.co.uk to let us know if you can still help with a house-show on Sunday the 9th of August, as it's the last date not confirmed on the tour and it'd be nice to wrap it up eh! ; ) would be great to hang out again and check out Dublin... is Seomra Spraoi open on Sundays? would like to visit there for sure, and we might have to leave pretty early Monday to get our ferry home...
