I like it but it feels kinda unfinished. It has the makings of an amazing remix in the right hands. She looks and sounds amazing but it never hits the dancefloor full throttle sound I was expecting at the start. Where are Basement Jaxx when you need them?

That Simulation song is pretty decent. I can take it or leave a lot of modern pop but i'm kind of fascinated with how in recent years you can hear the influence of garageband on so many songs; not so much the production but in how they are written.
People have become so proficient at it that it's basically an instrument in the same way that learning guitar or piano lends itself towards a certain style of songwriting. None of these kids can play any instrument to any kind of decent level but they're really good at garageband. It's an entirely new way of writing songs, it's cool! I wonder if there'll be a Nuggets style compilation in a few years of all these kids who think they're genius auteurs but in fact only have one idea that they're spreading over their 75 minute album.
(you'd miss some guitar songs in pop though)
