I was sitting on the bus yesterday, and saw some kiddies going on about their Junior Cert results party. One of em produced the tickets, and they were issued by none other than Ti****master.

Not to dredge up any old ticketmaster/MCD-are-evil debates, but jaypers, they've even monopolised the kiddies' gatherings.

What happened to good old 'scrumpy & snogging' down the local disco/barn/nondescript field? Always an advocate, me.

myJC night.memorable.my mates popped some anti depressant's and some girl left her boyfriend started talking to me-knew my name;but i've never seen her before.all of a sudden she just jumps on me!

i thought she was a bloody l;egend considering her bf was in the same room!

maintained sobriety out of free will though.

got pissed the night i fin'd my exams.southern comfort and football-first time ever pissed!

My brother is awaiting his junior cert results and i have real pity for him. Not just because he's not going to live up to the incredibly high standards set by eh....me but because the only social outlet available for hi and other kids in the area is the No Name Club! I'm not sure if anyone knows about the wonders of the No Name (I've been a hostess and on the committee since it started in this dump of a town) but the propaganda states that it is an outlet for young people to socialise in a relaxed atmosphere without the pressure of alcahol which is so prominent in todays society. (They've brainwashed me well i tells ya!) It's such a pity that they cant go out on the piss and end up in one of the twolocal night clubs like i did when my results came out! The tickets for my JC disco cost £4 and they were avaiable for purchase behind the bar in the stinky pub attached to the even stinkier night club! Ah what fun we had Blue by Eiffel 65 was playe d about 5 times during the 3 hour disco what a night!!

Never again.........

Anyone elses experience or interpretation of the no name club would be appreciated/enjoyed

Mine was an Eleanor Mc Evoy thingie in Goffs of Kill, the support band were called funky chicken or plucky duck or somethin like that!

i actually dreamt the score of the last world cup final *after* it happened. my score was copmpletely different but the match was much better and Ian Harte fell out of a helicopter at half time. Rare.

tikkketmaster...bastids! This local band..pearly jammers or suchlike sued tikkketmassah few years back, wish they'd a won. But tm is owned by Paul Allen, co-microshite founder who's got more $ than god's banker, so he spent bags on defense. What's the junior cert age? Is it like highschool grad here (17-18)?
On my grad nite (many years past, I'm old enough (33) to have sired some of you pups(and prolly did, nyuk nyuk), being the token punk/freak, I was looking lurvly in my leather trou and jacket. We had ours a military base. Rock and Roll! Disco with drunk officer's wives. One of 'em was dead set on spanking me at every possible moment-- husband angry. Did I mention I was wearing more makeup than michael jackson?.|..| .|..| .|..| I have slightly better taste now. Slightly.
