All that manipulation just probably just made it better. I was sure it was a put on after i saw it.POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Apparently the filmmakers massaged the truth a little bit for the film.
The film makes it looks like Wiebe and Mitchell never met until the scene where Mitchell comes into the place where Wiebe is playing and seems to leave straight away. Apparently they met many times before that and he didn't leave straight away that night. He stayed and chatted to everyone including Wiebe.
Also the disputed score/dodgy video thing was settled very quickly in Wiebe's favour and didn't drag out like the film implies.
It's a shame because it's an awesome documentary but this stuff takes the shine off it a little.
i've just finished watching it. t'was great. very happy with the ending.

Did you know that Billy Mitchell actually beat it back before the movie came out, live in front of a referee?
There is so much microscopic analysis of this movie by the nerds in it on the web, it's a whole new subject.
