This is a very rare case where someone wasn't rewarded for being offended. Mostly, no matter how stupid the perceived offence there's a whole host of people willing to clap you on the back and help you clutch your pearls.

Ah, the Pycon incident. I was only talking about it to someone a couple of days ago. I remember seeing this spiral out of control at the time. Very ugly.

Bawdy dongle puns is pretty much my sense of humour - I was almost wondering if I needed to ask myself some searching questions like: am I evil? °~°

The "tech community" seems to lurch from one drama to the next, some are more harmless than others. PyCon was pretty bad.

Just goes to show how the web loves a good witch-hunt.

I nuked my Twitter and I am now completely unaware of most tech/web drama. I've never been happier. I want to read that book though...
