Greetings from Belfast, folks - just what the doctor ordered this weekend - 2 generous portions of northern-fried rock'n'roll - The Answer + Pay*ola - with a side dish of London band Mohair. All at Whelan's on Friday night - 19th November - doors open 8pm - 10 Euros in (I think)
I'm posting on behalf of Pay*ola (obviously!)....we've played in Dublin many times (Doran's/TBMC/Voodoo Lounge/Isaac Butt/Virgin Megastore/Tower Records/Whelan's etc) - but we're probably best know in those parts for supporting Audioslave at the Point last year (also supported da Quo in there too!!). Last time we were down was for a great slot at the HWCH festival in The Hub. Always enjoy our trips to Dublin.
As for The Answer - crackin' rock'n'roll band with a lot of good things going on right now (including a support slot to The Darkness in London's Brixton Academy next week!!).
Should be a top night....would be cool to see some of y'all there!
