There is now a program available for the gameboy that allows you to make music using it's soundcard!It's called nanoloops,and it sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
If you don't have a gameboy,you could download the gameboy emulator and the nanoloops rom and have lots of fun.Normal people need not apply.

You will have to locate the nanoloops cartiridge.I've no idea where you could get one of them.As for the emulator and rom,i had a look and it doesn't seem to be available.Here's another i found though

hey peeps.

gameboy music. well, there are two ways.

firstly, a nanoloop cartridge from www.nanoloop.de , or, the slightly more desirable (in my eyes anyway) littlesounddj from www.littlesounddj.com.

i have nanoloop, its more of an experimental interface, but the littlesounddj is a tracker based program, with built in samples from classic drum machines.

hope this helps. both are best run on gameboy origionals (the grey one) as the sound is stronger and bassier, with minimal background hum. only use batteries though, the power supply creates an awful hum, which is interesting in its own right, but bloody annoying when you want to go record from it.
