Synth Britannia Documentary (1 Viewer)

watched that there the other day. I liked it but don't really know if it was good or not

It's basically an AV accompaniment to the British chapters in Rip It Up And Start Again, which is worth a read.

I dunno, I liked the documentary but that book bugged the hell out of me. Possibly simply because I have different taste in music

Well there are some sections I liked better than others in it, but that was the beauty of it, it covered a lot in pithy chapters. I recall there was one or two chapters I thought were a bit crappy but overall I enjoyed it. It rekindled my love of music, scenes, indie labels, movements etc.

I don't give a rats ass about anything much the man has done since the turn of the 80's but I do love to hear him speak. Yay!

"My Life in the Bush of Ghost" from 81' wit David Byrne is a masterpiece.
