think the cops took their opportunity to practice thier crowd control techniques for the night, the Bohs/Rovers game in Dalymount was also the most heavily policed thing I've ever attended in this country. just a handy co-incidence for the rozzers to have 3 events capable of gettin' aggro in a relatively small area one after the other.

I once repainted a postbox in England (green)
Hardly vandalism though - it hadn't been painted in years and I did a lovely job, sanded it and eveything

It's a crazy tradition in England to paint letter boxes green on Denim Day.

Stayed green for a couple of weeks ...
My friends knew I did it (a few of em helped), one of them heard 2 people talking about it somewhere that day. That was it really for feedback. Loads of people walked by during the day (I was staying close by) without seeming to notice

My postbox was painted red the night after some Ireland v England Rugby match. Stayed like that fer weeks. It was a slapdash job though - not like egg's - it lacked national pride.
