his current set up is him playing bass with a drummer and a massive wall of LED screens instead of lights. it looks great, Ill try and find some yutube footage

I'm a big fan of electronic music but for me, it just doesn't really work in a live setting.

If anyone remembers his las gig in Dublin it was on his "Go Plastic" tour which was all laptops. He kept the crowd waiting for ages with drone noise before coming on with pure digital assault. I fecking loved it but a lot of people were annoyed expecting jazz or something... the "Do You Know Sqarepusher" album comes with a live-in-Japan set that was similar.

This time - like at bangface last April and Manchester in Decemeber - he plays nearly 2 hours of bass-slappy, acid techno with the odd fave thrown in. His drummer is there for about 20% of it. With the light show it's absolutely amazing and relentless and at bangface there was 50% new material ranging from bassy-pop-breakbeats to gabba/whitehouse styles. Fun for all the family!
