SPOON LIVE ON RTÉ 2XM
The week gets started on RTÉ 2XM this Tuesday at 7pm as Robotnik's Random Rampage discusses the gruesome facts about serial killers. Tune in to hear the stories of the likes of Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy. While Chris Morrin manages to look through the most notorious murder files in the RTÉ studios, he somehow manages to play some brand new tunes from the likes of Pivot, F**k Buttons, Gorillaz and much much more. Repeated Friday at 6pm.
Following at 8pm it’s time for this week’s Needs More Cowbell where Cian McCarthy and Keith Brett have new music from excellent Dublin band The Gandhis, some classics from The Cars, Rolling Stones and Junior Wells. And, with the General Election having begun in Britain they'll be looking at the music the leaders of the various political parties over there like to listen to. This week they profile Conservative Party leader David Cameron. Repeated Sunday at 3pm.
