Some incredible stuff in it but the story is like the story in a video game.

I thought it was kinda crappy. I fell asleep during the middle so when it came to the very end I was v. confused. Don't get me wrong, special effects are top class but the story line seemed a little shitty.

have to agree - the 1st one is a good film that happens to have excellent fight choreography and effects, this one is really just a spectacle rather than a well-rounded film.

Yep. I was thoroughly disappointed by it. Could have been a much better film, but instead it got totally carried away with it's set pieces and not enough attention to the story or the flow of the movie. The beautiful Zion crusties made me want to walk out.

And who would have thought that Darth Vader was Neo's father!

This is seriously whetting my appetite for seeing the film, even though the consensus is that it's crap. I want to sit in a cafe somewhere with my mates and say yeah well, it's crap, and for them to be secretly envious that I saw it.

I think if you've actually seen The Matrix and go to see The Matrix Reloaded expecting anything other than "the story in a video game" then quite frankly you need a slap.

bit shit really, the script must have been written by someone that was once at a philosophy lecture and fell asleep (morpheus is like a poor man's yoda or something) . the fights and shit were good popcorn fodder, but the car chase thing went on so long and i was busting for a piss, agony. i liked agent smith tho kinda like a matrix terrorist.

What ye talkin about.

Firstly as a spectacle film it was far better the the last LOTR and it shat all over The Clones.
It least it made an attempt at the old philosophy. That part was grand. There was no immediate closure such as the end of the first one but its really just half of two films.
Dissappointed by the lack of Rage like at the end of the last one though.
THe car chash was spectacular I dont know how you can slag that. The motorbike scenes fuckin mighty.
Its like that documentray "GHost Rider". Anyone ever see that. Altough it sounds like cheap porn its about this biker who flies up and down highways in Sweden at 300 kph weavin in and out of lorries. He travels 45 miles in 14 minutes.
