The other day I finally heard all of the Hozier hit Take Me To Church and was very taken aback by how dull everything in this song is except the chorus. Still those few bars made the song a mega hit for him.
I've always thought Slipknot's Duality has the same deal. Great chorus but completely dull everything else yet still broke the band.

Any other suggestions?

Speaking in Q magazine, Charli described how it was “amazing” working with will.i.am during her new album sessions, and said: “We were writing and he was like ‘the verse – just say random words. Nobody listens to the verse’.”

Have written a new song that starts with a *killer* chorus then a solo, then the chorus again. Can't come up with any excuse of a verse to suit it. I think I just need another even bigger chorus. Thumped world problems.
