Even though I'm no fan, I'm intrigued by the whole Keane saga. They seemed like such clean-cut, well healed young men.... now, well, it's obvious isn't it? They're a bunch of snivelling fucking junkie cunts. Well, the singer is anyway. They were kinda impressive at V though (even though all I saw was that U2-aping "Is It Any Wonder" song) in that get everyone moving manner.
But in the wake of all their business off the pitch, they cancelled this free Irish gig which was to be held at "a secret venue" in Dublin on August 31st.
The PR guff stated that the gig is the fifth in Vodafone's TBA series of special shows and will "take place in a unique and iconic venue that will be revealed only hours before the show". So, er, where was it to take place? Fibbers? Downstairs in Bruxelles?
