Seriously!

I know there's some pretty clued up folks on here... any advice at all would be wildly appreciated!!!

Thanks guys... we just don't wanna fuck it up tooooooo badly.

Thanks in advance.

assuming you're prepared, spend a bit of time getting everything sounding how you want it. shouldn't be hard somewhere like that, but there's no point in rushing to press record if once its done you don;t like what you've got.

Dont let the sound engineer think he's a producer.

Thanks guys... We've been working with two producers on pre-production for this session for three weeks, so we feel pretty well prepared. Just wanna make sure we get the magic stuff....

Can't wait... Plus we just found out we're recording 4-5 more tunes for free in August... Exciting...

Thanks for the advice guys; keep it coming!

Did a recording there just over a year ago, all the advice here is spot on especially about getting the sound ye want before recording.

The setup was amazing but the engineers hadn't really a clue with the style of music we were playing so it was brutally mastered... No offense to them if they're reading

Luckily we've been working the people involved for quite a while, so no strangers involved really... Plus we're renting a pro backline of our choosing... So trying to leave very very little up to chance... Hoping at least.
