just noticed - the Ambassador??
surely a bit small for a gig this size, i thought they would pull a crowd for the Point?

they should have Lombardo and Bostaph play.
at the same time.
can i hear you scream "DRUM OFF!!"

A scientific deduction of events.

Someone cool a few years ago says Mastodon are cool. This is true.
The uncool people want to be cool, so agree, Mastodon are indeed cool.
Mastodon release Leviathan, a cool album to be sure.
Saying Mastodon are cooler than Slayer is not cool.
Ergo, concordantly, vis a vis, a = not b.
Slayer > Mastodon.
Mastodon will be > than many in time. perhaps.
ipso facto Slayer rule.

E44.50?
Jeez...dont think ive evr paid that much for a gig before but mastadon might just warrant it...and i guess slayer wouldent be that bad either

On the current line-up, Kerrang say (in one of those albums for 2005 thingys...)
"Everyone's favourite metallic evildoers will release the follow-up to 2001's 'God Hates Us All' towards the end of 2005. This will be the first Slayer album since 1990's 'Seasons In The Abyss' to feature the original and definitive line-up of Tom Araya, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman, and drummer Dave Lombardo"
