They said on Today Fm this morning that "it will be interesting to see what replacement act they get considering such short notice", this would imply that MCD are not offering refunds...

Strangely enough, MCD were not available to comment, rather unusual ain't it

This year's sold out Slane concert which was due to take place on Saturday 17th September has unfortunately been cancelled.

Full ticket refunds will be available from point of purchase from 12 noon this Friday 19th August 2005.

That'll learn them. Get a real fucking band next year!
