Hey guys and gals, I'm a 25 year old songwriter based in Galway after a few years doing the rounds, looking to put a band together after my last project went pear shaped. Well, technically the singer had another band which got signed to a label in London, so not so pear shaped for him.
Mainly looking for a singer, male or female, to get things rolling, and then fill out to a full band once there's a few new songs together.
Influences are pretty wide spread, but I want to make fun, danceable music, in or around the idea of Pop music. Think:
Prince, David Bowie, Justin Timberlake, Robyn, LCD Soundsystem, Postal Service, Passion Pit, Talking Heads, The Magnetic Fields, Marina & The Diamonds, and so on.
