Roger is just brillo. We went to see him a few years back and it was one of the best gigs ever.

I had this song in my head this morning when I heard the election results.

EDIT: according to wiki this got to #1 in Ireland in 1970.

Had a day out by myself for the first time in what feels like eternity today and Roger featured pretty strongly in my playlist. This one gut punched me but sooo good

Roger was a classic example of an artist who if he hadn't been so unpretentious would have been taken a lot more seriously. CS&N are much more easy listening than Roger IMO.
I always thought there was a lot of Roger in Nick Cave's ballads which might be true bearing in mind some of the songs he covered on Kicking Against The Picks.
But can Nick whistle like this?
