Art-rockin Dublin five-piece Richer Than Astronauts (RTA) are slow to describe themselves. Think Pere Ubu/Talking Heads/Blue Orchids/The Fall/Gang of Four/Wire/The Specials/Television suggest others.

RTA launch their debut album on Friday 3 December 2010 at The Twisted Pepper on Middle Abbey Street, with support from Dubstruck.
Doors 8pm. Admission 10 euros (a copy of the album is included in the admission price).

when is the album in the shops - with a new baby i'm unlikely to be able to make the launch.

We've opted for a limited run of CDs in an effort to avoid gifting the album as coasters for the next year or two. What we don't shift on the night will go to Tower. Should be there by Saturday 4 Dec or Monday 6 Dec.

We will also be selling the last few copies of our Derrick Dalton-recorded single at the gig, released May 2008.
