right now there's a cinema here showing some oldies on the big screen. so last night a few of us went to see Rebel Without a Cause and honestly i forgot how much of a dude James Dean was.
totalisch babe.
but it's deadly seeing older flicks on the big screen; beats watching a souped up DVD version anyday!

I remember being disappointed by this film. It seemed corny. I'm sure Mr Dean is a looker though, even though I have no gay desires on his bum.

this is the only one i can bring myself to post. i really hope he doesnt look on thumped.

"this hotel in cancun is very odd.
it's a brand new, fancy, white spa hotel.
except that it's empty.
200 rooms and a full staff and only 15 or so guests.
so it's kind of like 'the shining' but in a new contemporary white hotel in the tropics. it's weird, there are hotel staffers everywhere, just sort of standing around aimlessly but all very eager to help or do something. and now there's a big thunderstorm blowing in from the sea. it's cool to look out to sea and see the giant sheets of rain falling a few miles away. i wish there were big turtles here. i need shorts so i can go play in the water and look for giant turtles.
