Did anyone watch it? Its This Life but starring Cillian Murphy and set in a restaurant in Dublin.

I found the characters a bit irritating and the dialogue clunky. I'll give it another few more episodes but I'm not holding out much hope.

Err, it's the guy from Bachelors Walk and about 756 radio ads, not Cillian Murphy.

Anywho, it was okay I thought. The chef dude was awful though, and some of the acting was really stretched in the more confrontational scenes. Will give it another episode anyway.

it was poor. And very disappointing that there wasn't more naked chicks in it. I lost interest after 5 minutes.

An hour of nothing much happening. With the same old actors that act in everything on Irish TV. Just waiting for Charlo to make his appearance. Next week I suppose.

i can see the scriptwriting meetings;

-we need more edge!
-ok, how about some barebreasted riding in the first scene?
-not enough...try harder
-drugs been flushed down the jax, cops at the door?
-nearly...
-token drum and bass soundtrack?
-sorted!!

That's pretty raw.

I liked it cos it reminded me of when I worked in Kitchens and Restaurants for years. I miss shouting at people. It's great for anger management. I also miss being able to say whatever I like to people and not have to explain it all the time. But it was a bit unrealistic alright

It must depend on which side of the kitchen you worked in. I thought the evil chef was the fun-est part of the show, but when he was getting really mean it was too close to home and too near the bone for me and ex-kitchen porters everywhere.

I worked as a waitress, in the bar, in the kitchen as a porter, preparing food. Seven years so I got around. Ah he wasn't that bad, I've seen chefs go more crazy. You just gotta have a thick skin

i'm not saying this was good, but this wasn't that bad...sayin

i think that was the most nudity i've ever seen in an rte production,
although i think some guy might got his balls out in an episode of
pure mule

was watching it with my girlfriend, her sister and her Da

How raw is raw? Raw as uncooked steak? or as raw as a cow still in the field?...now thats some raw shit. Nudity with balls is fairly raw, as was its uncompromising take on twenty something life..yeah. shame its a shit substandard parody of This Life though.

imagine you frantically changed the channel to VH1 and "i want your sex"
by george michael came on and then you changed even more frantically
to MTV Base and it was one of those hip hop videos uncut shows and
'Pop That Pussy' by Ludacris came on and then imagine if you tried to
go back to the main menu on sky digital but you went one button down
too far and it went back up to 'Adult' and you clicked on 'Essex Babes'
and they were repeating that one show where the girl actually stuck a
dildo in the other girl and they got find 50 grand over it by OFCOM or
whoever regulates Sattelite TV - dare to dream
