I haven't been paying that much attention but from recollection of something I did read we're not getting the summer we got last year. We'll have a couple of decent spells, each a couple of weeks long, but nothing prolonged. It should be pretty warm throughout though.
And the first warm spell was forecast for next week, but no sign of any met services predicting that now.
It was around this time last year that the heatwave started. I remember it because I was sick for about a month.
I'll have a look around tomorrow and see what the consensus is.
