Hey, Chris from Corrosive Machine here.
We're a punk-metal-hard rock hybrid from Offaly, based in Tullamore.
We take influences from just about anything, but our main influences are Bad Religion, The Misfits combined with old thrash/Metallica.
We're looking for gigs to promote our new demo and E.P, due this summer.
We are willing to travel to gigs, and will play just about anywhere.
We got songs up on bebo and myspace, check them out:

Contact us on bebo, or email [email protected] if you're interested

Cheers.

Sounds pretty damn cool lads!
Can't say I hear the BR in there (then again, I'm heavily influenced by them too, but you mightn't know from our songs...), but I do like what you're doing :) Nice and old-school-y \m/

Cheers dude, we got another song called Jimmy Just Died, sounds a bit more like BR hardcore stuff.
If you've ever been to Tullamore, there's a guy who goes around exactly like Fr. Jack who says fuck all and when he does talk he talks about how he died, or is gonna die!
Hes a living duplicate of Fr. Jack, but is genuinely off his head!lol

Nah, its Jimmy... nobody knows his 2nd name... Could be Cowen tho!lol
The doctors are gonna have some time fillin out his death cert...

its mostly death metal/deathcore in Tullamore, in birr they like the metallica stuff.
Theres no real punk scene here.
we're the only punk band here, as far as i know.
Theres a shitload of other bands round here, overkilin the poppy metal like BFMV and metallica covers.
The majority of bands in Tullamore are deathcore bands.
Its a pain in the hole gettin gigs here.

Get him to join your band, sounds like he could be Ireland's answer to GG Allin.

Something happening in Offaly at long last, nice! I don't live there and would never wish to, but you'd kind of pity the people who do. If ye put on a few gigs yourselves I'd say there'll be no end of bored people delighted to go and see.

Your pity is well placed...it sucks here, and we have put on a few shows.
We threw one there in April and people were delighted.
It was the 1st since halloween of last year...
