<<< will accept trades for computer related hardware such as external 1TB and 2TB drives, a solid low or zero latency firewire interface, Yamaha NS10M monitors, Arturia Jupiter8 softsynth for Mac >>>
** this is taking up space in my studio, pricing it for quick sale **
Due to a complete studio upgrade I am selling my ProTools TDM rig.
It can be viewed and tested in my Dublin-based studio at any time.
I'm willing to facilitate delivery in Dublin/surrounding areas.
Please ask questions, happy to provide as much information as possible.
I am the original owner of the core system. The spare G4 and 888|24 interface were purchased for backup a couple of years ago but never used.
Here is the core system: It is a Mac G4 ProTools TDM system. Dual monitors are great for viewing mix and edit windows simultaneously. Included are a backup G4, additional 888|24 interface, extra DSP cards and extra IO cables. If you wanted to you could build a 2nd ProTools rig using this hardware OR you could buy an inexpensive expansion chassis and build a more powerful rig.
The system is rock solid: it just works. I've done many projects on this system.
It can be upgraded to OSX and/or ProTools 6 however the dual-monitor video card is not supported in OSX. I didn't upgrade beyond ProTools 5.2 and OS9.2 because the system worked perfectly and my philosophy is if it ain't broke don't fix it. No bloatware or other crap on the system, it is optimised for ProTools.
G4 Mac details: 1GB Ram; AGP Graphics - with dual monitor card; OS 9.2; Power PC G4 400Mhz; System Partition 1GB; Applications Partition 8.5GB; 2nd Internal Drive 100GB; DVD-R Drive. USB and Firewire interfaces as standard.

ProTools 5.2 software and manuals.
Other software includes: Roxio Toast, EMagic WaveBurner (great for CD mastering)
888|24 interface and interface cable.
2 x 17” flat-screen VGA monitors
The system has a Mix Core TDM card and 2 x Mix Farm TDM cards. All tested using DigiTest and working.
In addition I have extra TDM cards , a second 888|24 interface and cables:
2 x DSP cards
1 x Mix Farm
2 x 5 node cables (for connecting the DSP/Mix cards inside the Mac)
3 x IO cables
1 x 888|24 interface (small cosmetic damage from previous owner)
I will include any other accessories I can locate including keyboard with ProTools labelling, USB floppy disk drive, original manuals and install discs.
