Cheapest pint in Dublin city centre I have found is Molloy's on Talbot St - €4, if memory serves.
A local boozer for local people.

The Croppy Acre. Although, it's well down the quays and it's at least a year since I was last in. It was €3 for all pints, all the time..... maybe €3.50....

Callnan's in Cork Beamish is 2.85e, last time I was in there anyways...the Wolfhound was dirt cheap back in the day too..

the days of ultra cheap pints in cork are just about gone though... the tower and the quinryan are both gone; tom barry recently took over bradleys, kicked out all the cranky octogenarian bastards, turned down the strip lighting, lashed a lick of paint on the walls, put in a jukebox and raised the price of the pint to about 3.40; and pints in callanans finally hit three euro. pints of beamish that is. still a good price..
