anybody ever used one of these?
some dude offered to sell it to me on the cheap
would be handy to have a smaller second amp for practice i guess
online reviews seem positive enough
worth pickin up?

I know a few people who love them. Probably worth buying it if it's cheap.

they had them in the undeground (rehearsal studio), totally awful. would wanna be cheap cheap i would say.

he's selling it for 200
never used a peavey amp except for an ancient one that i bought in like 1985
heaviest amp of all time (not in the good way)

yeah the underground - those amps are awful
you'd be better off attaching twine and a can to your guitar

if yer lookin for a decent around the house practise amp, i got a fender princeton or some shit a million years ago and it has never failed me ever and sounds decent

oh the spring reverb broke..who cares

yeah think i'll pass on this if it's all the same to you guys
i do need something that's loud enough for band practice though, have a bigger amp for gigs

practicing with two bands in two different places = pain the hole

any suggestions? have bout 500 to spend

One of the Laney tube combos?

I think a mate of mine in dublin is selling one of these:

I've a Marshall AVT100 with footswitch and ampmate flight case. Its the latest generation of valvestate amps with 16 multi effect and three channels. Etc blah blah,

yours for €400.00

that princeton is great, when I grow up and start earning money I'm totally picking one up

fender stage 100 comes in at about 500 too. real nice sound. probably very like the princeton/and or blues junior. never had to crank it past 2.

if you're going for a non-tube amp, i would go for fender over marshall any time. those AVT's suck balls (sorry nonemoreblack).

what's so bad about the AVTs?
bear in mind i'll be using this for the synth pop band
prob wouldnt use it for heavy stuff

Just checked, my mate is selling his deluxe 900. It's about 2 years old, really really good condition and never been gigged, for 300 euro (including footswitch).

I'll PM you his number if your interested. He's in Dublin by the way.
