I got a kinda related question ....

I need to run a Windows program (3DS Max) on my Mac (Macbook about 2 years old ..... OSX, Intel chip). What's the best solution? Ideally one that doesn't cost me anything ...

Parallels? What's the story with the trial? Does it run out after X amount of days?

I prefer VMWare Fusion over Parallels. My machine doesn't have a good size HD (only 60GB) so I just download a TinyXP iso (piratebay is your man). They come pre-cracked so no messing about with keys.

apparently not very well (and that's version 7). directX & licensing issues are bug bearers.

i got a serial to use with Paralles so grand but my copy of XP expired in 30 days as it wasnt activated.
